I'm featuring a super special wedding today... because it's mine! Today marks nine years since our wedding day, and it's still one of my favorite memories—probably because it was one of my first glimpses into a different side of the industry that would become a huge part of my life! We were married at The Immaculata at the University of San Diego, a classic, beautiful cathedral that felt meaningful and sacred.

The reception followed in a tented space at the Hyatt Mission Bay, which was completely transformed with soft draping and chandeliers we brought in to give it a warm, elegant feel.
The design was simple and neutral with soft pink tones throughout and lots of greenery. We had both a wedding cake and a donut bar—something fun I knew guests would actually go for. We also included a fun favor of champagne glasses since we both love champagne
One of the most personal pieces for me was my Hayley Paige dress. I found it years before we were even engaged and never forgot it. Trying it on just confirmed what I already knew: it was the dress.

Last year, we happened to drive past the Hyatt and noticed the tent was set up again. We parked and stepped inside, and it all came rushing back. Being in that space again was unexpectedly grounding—like a quiet reminder of where we started. Nine years later, it’s still one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
