Cinco de Mayo is the perfect excuse to gather with friends, turn up the music, and enjoy the ultimate duo—skinny margaritas and guacamole! This year, I’m keeping it light and fresh with my favorite SPICY skinny margarita recipe. And the perfect addition is this fresh and fun guacamole- it is SO good I can eat it by the spoonful!

No one wants to be squeezing limes all night (and the fresh lime juice truly is a game changer!), and this margarita recipe is super simple to batch for a crowd. The first two parts are a bit labor intensive - start by muddling jalapeños with a bit of agave, then squeeze your limes and the rest is as simple as can be! Of course, you'll need a lime and tajin to garnish! See full recipe at the bottom of the post. Chill in a beautiful glass pitcher and serve in these festive margarita glasses (also love these for on the rocks)—they’re perfect for cheers-ing all night long. It's also great in a shaker (we love this jumbo one that makes 4 cocktails), but when batching I add all of the ingredients besides the Topo Chico to the pitcher, pour into the glass and then top with the soda water! Cheers!

Of course, no fiesta is complete without guacamole! I keep mine classic with ripe avocados, red onion, fresh lime, jalapeño, and cilantro- that's it! Of course, serving it in a traditional molcajete is a must—it looks beautiful on the table and keeps everything chunky and rustic, just the way we like it. We got this molcajete as a wedding gift and I think it just gives the perfect authentic vibe! I'm guilty of filling it with store bought guacamole when my homemade guac just isn't going to fit in my schedule for the day! The full recipe that I use for guacamole is here.

Whether you're hosting a big bash or just a backyard happy hour, this combo is all you need to make Cinco de Mayo feel special, festive, and so easy to pull off.
