They say the third baby gets the hand-me-downs and the “we’ll get to it later” energy—and, well, that was pretty true for Gabby’s room. We didn’t finish her nursery until she was almost one, but honestly? I think that made it even more special!
This space came together slowly and intentionally. I knew I wanted it to feel soft and serene, with a color palette that leaned fresh and calming. I found myself pulled toward more greens and blues than I’d used in Gia's room—but of course, we kept pink front and center as the main color. It’s feminine without being too precious, playful but still peaceful. I started with the wallpaper and then based the rest of the room around it.

The crib is a classic spindle style in crisp white—this one is nearly identical and would grow beautifully with any nursery design. I paired it with a pink fitted sheet, and topped it with a gorgeous floral quilt that brings in those leafy greens and soft blues I kept coming back to. Gabby's was made especially for her by her Grammy, but I found other cute blue hydrangea blanket options here and here. This is just a lovey but the same fabric that we picked!
That scalloped jute rug was a favorite find and makes such a statement while still keeping the space neutral and warm. I actually had initially purchased a different rug for her room but returned it when I saw this one. The scalloped edges sold me! And the plush swan rocker? Total whimsy. It was gift from my mom and is as sweet as it is soft—this one would be a darling addition to any nursery or playroom.

Above the changing dresser, we hung a custom monogram print with her full name—there are so many lovely options if you’re looking to personalize your own little one’s space. And one of my favorite corners of the room is the built-in desk nook where I’ve tucked in framed family photos, books, and a few meaningful pieces to make the space feel layered and lived-in. My favorite is the pink stencil image of the duomo in Florence - Gabriella Florence's namesake -- and a framed photo of the draping and chandelier that hung on our wedding. Both are so special!

This room is such a reflection of our life right now—sweet, a little chaotic, but full of love. Gabby may not remember it, but I’ll always hold close the quiet (and not so quiet) moments we’ve shared here.
