As winter fades away, the arrival of spring brings new life and a whole new color scheme! Longer days and blooming flowers create the perfect backdrop for a sweet gathering of friends and family! We are experiencing a rare few weeks of ran here, so I'm looking forward to brighter days ahead. A Spring brunch with the doors and windows open is a great way to

Embrace the Color Palette

I tend to lean towards neutrals with navy blue and dark green accents in my day to day decor. Spring is is such a great time to leave my comfort zone and embrace the colors of the season-- at least a little! I love this tablescape because I was able to use lots of the signature colors that you see throughout my home, but also incorporate a pop of pink, which truly showcases this season. I love mixing in pops of brighter colors to pull everything together and automatically put a smile on the face of anyone that enters my home!

I took a fun risk playing with a more royal blue and bright pinks, but stayed true to myself with my signature deep greens! These Bordallo Pinheiro salad plates are SO versatile. Apparently, these are an acquired taste, which is news to me because I'm actually in love with them. They are amazing year round- playing perfectly for a spring tablescape here but also can be so beautiful around Christmas time!

Speaking versatility, this silverware is just amazing. It has a great weight, especially for the price point. The gold gives such a pretty pop and the ornate bamboo detail is perfect. I love pairing it with these bamboo placemats to make everything feel a little warmer and more casual.

Florals: Freshness in Bloom

Flowers brings a special charm to any spring gathering! I always keep a variety of vases and flower containers available to use throughout the house. You can grab cute and inexpensive containers at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. I like to find special ones when I can, but keep neutral ones on hand to quickly grab! I have 6 or 7 varieties of this in multiple shapes and sizes. I find it a bit more difficult to order any vases online because it can be hard to gauge size, but I've linked a few that are tried and true here and here! I always grab a few extra bundles at Trader Joe's-- I love placing small arrangements of fresh flowers around the house to pull everything together.

Light and Fresh Spring Eats

When it comes to food, keeping it light and fresh is key. Not only do seasonal ingredients taste better, but they are also healthier! I like incorporating light appetizers, nothing too heavy- after all, summer is around the corner! :)

For starters, these sweet pepper and cucumber bits are always great. Even my kids go for them! The recipe is simple and a staple for small gatherings at our home. I recently began whipping my cream cheese and using a piping bag to fill my peppers- trust me, it is SO much easier and less messy than spooning it in! Serving them up on a beautiful silver tray adds a touch of elegance and shows your guests you spent time preparing for them!

Celebrate!

For me, spring time just screams brunch! With pretty colors, floral decor, and fresh spring eats, it is the perfect time for an amazing brunch gathering that highlights this time of year and the joy of connecting with friends and family.

So, gather your friends and family, ignite lively conversations and a few candles, and relish the refreshing energy that spring brings. Happy partying!
